This was the first childcare centre that I was building, so I was very much finding my feet during this process. Jorgensens went above and beyond the services of just a commercial builder.
The previous developmental approval came in too expensive to build our childcare centre, as a result, I lost the original, proposed childcare centre operator. Thankfully, we found Jorgensens builders, who stepped in and solved all the problems financially by re-designing and constructing our childcare centre to fit within our time frame and budget. They even found me a fantastic childcare operator to take on a long term lease (which was AMAZE childcare). To further secure the operator for us, the childcare centre was designed and constructed to suit their day to day operations, which we had not thought of introducing.

Client – Perfect Begginings Childcare Centres
After migrating to Australia and becoming involved in the childcare industry, we needed to extensively renovate a very dated centre we had acquired. With our limited network and experience, we were quite anxious about finding the right commercial builder in Brisbane, to complete an extensive and difficult job. A trusted advisor recommended Jorgensens. Working with Michael and his team was an absolute privilege. Michael`s experience and expertise were worth their weight in gold. He had no hesitation in guiding us to better outcomes, having taken the time to drill down to carefully understand what we wanted to achieve. Michael`s in-depth knowledge of the complex myriad of regulations that apply to the childcare industry ensured we were compliant every step of the way. We had a budget for the reno and Michael was able to work within it, without compromising on quality. Michales`s integrity is his most outstanding quality. If we wanted certain additions or upgrades, that would take us over over budget, there were always detailed explanations so there would be no surprises. We were able to develop a relationship of trust in a very short time. Following this positive experience, we have subsequently used Jorgensens to renovate other childcare centres in Brisbane and continue to rely on Michaels`s advice experience.

We began working with Jorgensens in 2013 when we were looking to expand our Child Care Business. We were told that we “had to speak to Jorgensens” as they had built over 30 centers on the Gold Coast and Brisbane and knew nearly everything when it came to new centre builds and refurbishments. From the start, it was evident that this was the case and were always extremely professional, knowledgeable and patient in what is a particularly complex industry to build in. Over this time we have worked with them on 3 projects, one being a complete refurbishment in a run-down centre that had been closed down which now operates at 100% occupancy as well a 2 brand new centre developments in 2016 / 2017. Their quality workmanship and project management is the best in the business and nothing was or is an issue. Every job was completed on schedule, if not earlier and most importantly, on budget.
I look forward to many more years of working with Michael and his team and will not build a centre without their expertise by our side.
